Do you ever feel invisible, overlooked or undervalued? Do feel alone or hurting and not sure how to handle it or what to do? Are you going through a rough time dealing with the loss of a loved one or struggling to move forward in your life? I work with clients as they become empowered to overcome life’s struggles, process through their pain and realize their value and worth. My clients will encounter a down-to-earth, non-judgmental ear and caring environment that’s designed to promote an environment of healing, productivity and growth. Everyone’s story and dynamics are unique.
I am a graduate from Wayne State University, School of Social Work with a master’s degree specializing in Clinical Social Work. I provide specialized counseling services to individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, dependent personality disorder and ADHD. Using an individualized approach, I incorporate evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy and a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction approach.
Seeking help is a great first step, but not always easy. I like to make the scheduling process simple. I offer weekend appointments, and I typically schedule appointments for new clients within one week. Let’s get started today. I look forward to meeting you soon!
